CGS Episode 300 mentions Bushi Tales as a sponsor, and Dave's art as a door prize towards the end of the episode. Episode 301 features some voice mails sent in by us during our trip to PA. www.comicgeekspeak.com/episodes.aspWe were also interviewed by Wayne Cordova for the Radio Wayne podcast, as was Mike Norton and Antone Wade. Check out the RadioWayne - CGS 300 Recap Show for those interviews and the story about how Wayne was the first CGS listener we saw in Philly. radiowayne.ning.com/Wayne's got a great show and is a blast to hang out with. We had a great time meeting him and many other CGS fans while we were in Reading, PA.

We know who you are- you can't hide any longer. Reveal your true identity as a "POD-PERSON"! (Skrulls need not apply.)We know you are among us. Stop hiding in the crowds. Stand up and be rewarded at conventions this year by turning yourself in. Don't be afraid. Just find the Bushi Tales booth at upcoming comic conventions or signings, tell me you're a "pod-person" and I'll hook you up with a free sketch card! How's that?If you're a CGS, ISR, CNI, Comic Book Page (or insert your favorite pod-cast here) listener or DCBS customer let me know that, too. We'd like to keep a record of all who visit our booth this year. No purchase required (although always welcome) and no harm or persecution will befall you. Just a free sketch card and our thanks for stopping by. Remember, the secret code is, "Hi, I'm a pod-person." Oh, BTW- each day of the cons this year we will be giving away a limited number of Bushi Tales trading cards, too. We had Morgan Printing give us some free promo cards last year so we decided to go ahead and do a full set of cards for this con season. There are 9 BT art trading cards in each set- full color front and 1 color back. We'll have a different free card each day starting at the Phoenix Comicon/Cactuscon and then others we hit in 2008. Full sets of the cards will be available for sale at each convention appearance. Pre-order BT3 from us at Cactuscon and get a free set of cards! Hope to see you all there- don't make us come looking for YOU! Lin

Hey- we got a great review of Bushi Tales #3 on the Comic Book Page podcast this week! www.comicbookpage.com/ www.comicbookpage.com/Podcast/?p=156 This is one of my favorite podcasts- and not just because they've said nice things about Bushi Tales. Each week they review one Marvel comic, one DC comic, and one comic from another publisher. The hosts, John and Bob, have been very supportive of us and indie comics, and probably keep a lot of publishers (including Marvel and DC) in business from just the comics they buy every week! Check out their show (I really like the Super-Fan episodes), and the amazing photos of their collections they have on their site. John also does The Mayo Report where he runs the numbers for comic sales- very informative! Thanks, Lin

The MSCA's favorite comic drawin' wookie and former Memphian Mike Norton is interviewed on the Word Balloon podcast with John Siuntres this week. John is one of my favorite interviewers, and Mike is one of my favorite artists- so this should be a great show! Hope you enjoy it. Lin Mike Norton and The Art Of The Quick Draw On This edition of the Word Balloon podcast, host John Siuntres catches up with DC artist Mike Norton. The guy's been busy, taking over the pencil duties on Green Arrow/Black Canary from Cliff Chiang, starting with this week's issue #7. We'll also get a behind the scenes look at some new books on the way this month and beyond... Mike talks about drawing this month's Blue Beetle all Spanish issue #26, written by Jai Nitz , and he's drawn three weeks of back up stories, in the upcoming DC weekly,Trinity, collaborating with the legendary veteran Jerry Ordway. He also talks about wrapping The All New Atom, and reflects about working with writer Gail Simone, His work on Metamorpho Year One with Dan Jurgens, and The Image Book Loaded Bible 3 written by Tim Seely, and drawn by Norton and Chris Johnson . Norton is a podcaster too. He co-host's the CrankCast ( crankcast.net/ ) with artist Chris Crank. Norton, Crank and Siuntres participated in last year's 24 hr comic podcast with many other comic book artists and podcasters. John and Mike discuss the prospects of attempting another 24 hr marathon show. www.wordballoon.libsyn.com/
