Notic, that would be cool though if you could come. If you have never been to San Diego it is totally unlike any convention I have ever been to. However this will be the first time we have had a table. I can't say if it will be better that attending. I guess it will have its pros and cons. Pro- I will be behind a table most of the time and truly be able to people watch and talk to folks. Con- I will miss out on some cool panels and events. There is always the night time programming though.
Looking forward to seeing the premier of the new Superman animated movie, Doomsday I think is the name. Correct me if I am wrong. It is at night after the exhibitor hall closes.

If I understand right, you guys have one HELLUVA walk on your hands. Maybe it's not such a bad thing to have a table and booth to sit down at...

We only had one BT card left, I'll get Dave to either send a couple when he gets more done or send me a few blanks. We need to do more for CGS Ep 300 in September. Got some buttons and posters for you and Ronnie I'll bring to the dinner meeting Thursday night. We had a great show- BT went over great. We had a bunch of folks walk by or stop by the table. Couldn't have asked for a better spot! Got lots of pics to share. Got to hang out with a bunch of friends- some from Memphis and some from CGS. After the big storm that just blew thru here the internet is acting a bit wonky so I'll post them this weekend. Lin

Some cool news when we got home fro the SDCC. Our buddy and fellow Memphis Mafia member Andrew Chandler won the HEROES comic contest that was held on-line at their site. Jeph Loeb announced it at the HEROES panel. Recently, NBC issued a challenge to fans of the hit TV show HEROES. The contest was to either adapt a comic book script or mix and mash a music video. Andrew Chandler accepted the worldwide call to apply his artistic merit to the graphic novel challenge, on the grounds that he had thoroughly enjoyed the first season and had nothing better to do at the time. The winner was announced by none other than Mr. Jeph Loeb himself at the HEROES discussion panel during this year's Comic-Con in San Diego. When the dust had cleared, Andrew was left standing alone as the triumphant conqueror. Sadly, the hero of HEROES was unable to accept the honor in person and is still awaiting formal recognition from the National Broadcasting Company. Amidst accolades, he has tried to retain his humility above all and insists that he could receive no greater prize than the respect and admiration of his fellow cartoonists. www.nbc.com/Heroes/video/video_disp...html#mea=135233www.nbc.com/Heroes/comiccon/stories...story_001.shtmlwww.andrewchandler.netMemphis represent!
