The revolution also supports the GameCube controler, as well as other "preferal attachments". It would be entirely possible to develope for the system and skip any of the motion sensitive gimmicks. I think where your going to find more interesting interperatations of the controler will be in "gesture" systems. creating a square or triangle with the controler actiaves a particular command for example.
I suspect the first generation of revolution games will be extremely "gimickey" feeling, simmilar to how many of the first DS games incorperated the touch screen, but once developers get a feel for it, that's where all of the innovation will live from then on.
BushiTales Videogame IP If the game is interesting enough, it could potentially build the BushiTales IP completely separate from the comic. If a game is good enough, it will sell it's self (although, without aggressive marketing this is usually in the form of a "Sleeper Hit", depends on the publisher though)
It would still be cool to see, wouldn't it?

well now Nintendo has changed the name of the system to Wii
I have no idea why and it looks like someone was on acid at the time to name it that unless it is some kinf of tech or something still looks like somone on acid named i though. That is good to hear that they will be supporting gamecube controllers...I would not even know where to begin with the motion sensor thing. Then again I might after I get my education.

I was going to go to the Art Institute of San Fran but, they were screwing me over b/c they do not know how to do any financial stuff. for instance they keep changing my fee for classes I did online. They cannot make up their mind. I will probabally be self taught. I will take whatever courses I can out here though. Oh the main reason I did not go to San Fran was b/c I had to pay them back $110,000 in ten years. I found this out a couple of weeks before school actually started.

100000? Sheesh it's getting expensive for people to goto school. the Art Intitutes are kinda funkey, especially about money. There are other decent game related schools out there like UAT and the really well known one's like Full Sail. Even if you can't goto school specificly for games, getting a degree is still important. Going to websites like CGTalk, PolyCount, and other stuff like that is probably your best bet if being self taught is the way your going to go. Of course I'm speaking strictly from an Art perspective. Programming on the other hand is different, and I can't help you as much with that. I hope everything goes well for you Superman and good luck!

I and a few of my friends have come across a cool new game Its called M.U.G.E.N it's so awesome you can download charcters from different corners of the interweb you can make matchups from Superman and Cloud vs. Inuyasha and Juggernaut there are tons of charecters but you must find them yourselfs since they do not come with the game which is pretty lame you know anywho yeah its soooooo cool wait here's the link: unofficial-winmugen.jpn.org/ that should be it and if its not go to Wikipedia.org and type in M.U.G.E.N and there you go just look around there and you should see it trust me and the charcters once again are scattered so happy hunting. ^_^

MUGEN isn't exactly "New", but it is definately something for fans of 2d fighters to look into. A consistant problem I've noticed with user-made MUGEN cheractors is painfully inconsistant cheractor ballancing. That complaint is entirely design fueled however, so if you just want to see your favorite characters beating each other up and don't care about the gameplay actually being fun then you'll probably enjoy this.
Plus if you have some skills in the pixel-art area, you can make your own cheractors which is pretty cool. This is an interesting program from that standpoint since you could potentially create your own street fighter clone styled game with completely origonal cheractors.

I have about 70 characters on M.U.G.E.N. Those characters come from DC & Marvel Comics, video games, etc. I first heard of M.U.G.E.N. from a friend while I was "visiting" Ft. Jackson, SC. He told me about it and I checked it out when I came back to Memphis. At that time, M.U.G.E.N. was not compatable with Windows XP. Then more recently. some of my friends discovered that it was for Windows XP. For the past week, I have been on a search for numerous characters and stages. However, some characters are really cheap, especially Broily from DBZ. We all know Supes can take them out without breaking a sweat, but the creator of the M.U.G.E.N. Broily thinks otherwise. So, when looking for characters, beware that some of the character's AI is ungodly powerful. My other beef with M.U.G.E.N. is ,sometimes during gameplay, it will quit and return to Windows for no explained reason. Overall, M.U.G.E.N is a good fighting emulator with great possiblities of fighting with with favorite characters. Like Ash (from Evil Dead, not Pokemon) versus Scorpion or Cloud versus Link.

Well by new I mainly meant for me since I never heard of it and yeah since the characters are ripped from other games and keep the same battle system and stuff like that or there created by fan boys or girls whom make there favorite characters super powerful and basically unbeatable like Broily there are also modded characters that are bassically the ripped characters from another game but with new moves that are beyond cheap like the mortal kombat characters oh sorry off the subject yeah thats why the characters balancing is off wack but hey what can you do. ^_^

Well Justice League Heroes comes out October 10th. 2 more characters have been added to the roster. Green Arrow (Oliver Queen) and Aquaman (the classic one as in not the new young one whom recently appeared in DC comics this year). The rest of the cast is Superman, Batman, GL (John Stewart), Flash, Wonder Woman, Zatanna, and Martian Manhunter. This game is for Xbox and PS2.
Marvel: Ultimate Alliance is coming out this October also..on the 15th. The characters I am most excited about being in the game are Captain America, Ghostrider, and Doctor Strange. The other charcs announce playable so far....Elektra, Blade, Spiderman, Thor, Human Torch, Iceman, Thing, Invisible Woman, Wolverine oh and Silver Surfer...Deadpool was supposedly announced and so was Spiderwoman, Black Panther, Warbird and someone else...I will pot later to see if those rumors are true. Punisher better be in it though.
