Well it's been an exciting last couple of weeks with Issue #1 coming out. We've gotten lots of great media coverage from The Daily Courier (Prescott, AZ), Fox 13 News (Memphis, TN), The Verde Independent (Cottonwood, AZ), The Bugle (Camp Verde, AZ), Knoxville Sentinel (Knoxville, TN), ABC 15 (Phoenix, AZ), Memphis Flyer (Memphis, TN) and more every single day. The most exciting for me personally has to be finding out that The Stars & Stripes (US Military Newspaper) and Captain Comics both did some great write-ups on our first issue! I would like to thank everyone who's supporting Bushi Tales! If you've read about Bushi Tales in a Newspaper or online and it's not in my list, please let me know. I'd love to hear about it.

We have had several people from the military buy a copy of BT#1 on line. (Thanks to who ever wrote the article in Stars and Stripes.) That is super cool and I thank you all for you support and more importantly for you service to our country.
One of the guys is stationed in Japan!! How cool is it that a copy of BT will be in Japan?
If any of you guys are checking out our message board please sign up I would love to learn more about you and see where you are stationed.

There was an excellent write up in the Millingonton Star News Paper! Front page and half on another page that came out this week. Read the article in the Memphis Flyer today. It was a nice write up also. The book looks great and everyone I have shown it to, is really impressed. Their usual remark when they open it is WOW! Wore my Mikah button, while looking for the Memphis Flyer, and found some at the Katz Music Store. The clerk asked me about the button and I told him about BT. I gave him a Hachiman Card and one on the Sound Track. He asked me if He could post it up in the store. And I replied YES! His coworker said I've seen that, and come to find out, he had read the article in the Memphis Flyer. The clerk asked me if Comic Cellar had Bt and I told him yes. He said he was going to check it out. It is really exciting around here! Keep up the good work guys. Keep those issues coming! Sagwa

Sounds great! Lin is supposed to be dropping us some copies of the Flyer article in the mail. Could you send us some copies of the Millington Star article? Also I don't know if Ms. Norwood would be up for it or not but we could drop by and show some stuff from the book and talk about art as a career at MCHS when I'm in town for Con-Sequential in October. Here's a shot of the Courier article that ran in Prescott, AZ: I'll be putting some packages together with copies to ship out on Monday. I also have to ship some BT #1 out too.

Yep- we've been getting some good press! If you've been to the news section you've probably seen some of the shots from the Fox13 Good Morning Memphis interview with Tom Dees. Here's the Memphis Flyer write up from this past week. Looking forward to seeing the Millington Star one. I sent off press kits to Wizard Magazine, Memphis Magazines, and CBG today. We'll see if they pick up on it, to. Lin

I will be looking forward to seeing the press articles from there. I will send you The Millington Star News Paper this week, hopefully tomorrow. I picked up some copies for you and Lin. I already thought about talking to Ms Norwood about that too. I wanted to ask you about it first. Will get in touch with her about it as soon as the dates for you time here is finalized. I am going to order a Bushi Tales Sound Track CD and take it by Katz as soon as it comes in. They may be interested in selling it there. Sagwa

Ok before anyone gets confused, the name of the CD store is Cats Music not Katz. Though Katz would be more unique though. Just clearing this up before anyone goes looking for the place and cannot find it.

Sorry for the mistake. I use to shop at Cats but it's been so long since I moved I forgot. I just assumed Sagwa knew the right way to spell it. Hope they decide to carry BT. That would be cool.
