WEEeeee...I can't wait! I have been listening to CGS more and more. It is what David and I listen too on the weekends while we work on the book. They can be pretty funny at times and I have learned a lot about the comic book industry.

CGS 300 will be really cool. I gotta get my rear in gear and finish up stuff. I haven't been able to be on the forum (which sucks) because I have been doing artwork like crazy (which is good). I just wanted to take the time to post some of the art that Janet and I have been working on over here. Jetta: Revelations is on point for July and we are in the process of finishing it up now. Hope you guys like the work. Promo image of one of our newwr characters named Lace. She made here debut in the last book but she didn't have much "screen" time. We get to see her a lot in this book. Art from the book! :thumbsup_anim: Now back to work. I hear the whip cracking.

Antone that looks great! Can't wait for the book. For those of you who may not know, Antone a.k.a Martheus was the guest artist on the back up story Training Day in issue 2. He took time out of his busy schedule to pencil those pages. Also look for Antone's creation, Jetta to team up with Billy Tucci's Shi in the War of the Independents. Check out his web site to learn more. www.toshigawa.comThanks for sharing Antone.

Hey, speaking of the CGS and Ep300, we should be listed after this weekend as an oficial sponsor on the podcasts.
Oh, and I just heard from another CGS Ep300 artist guest and former Memphian Mike Norton. Looks like he's going to be coming to town next month for a comic signing at Comics and Collectibles. I'll let you know as soon as I hear something final on the time and date.

We've been doing some sketch cards for the past few shows we've done, but Harold Jennett / Trusti Musti on the CGS boards has asked for artists to participate in doing them as trading cards. www.thecomicforums.com/forum2//index.php?showtopic=114895&st=0www.artist-trading-cards.ch/Basically you do three cards, turn them in, get three different cards from other artists, and trade them for others you may want. Sounds fun! I'm going to do three, plus more of the regular sketch cards for the show. Lin

Here's my 3rd and last Ep300 Artist Trading Card. "Playing with your head." I may see if the MSCA gang would want to do some of these sketch cards at our next art show. Would be fun to trade with each other or do a bunch and give one to each visitor as they enter let the guests at the show trade with each other.

We're back from Reading, PA! (Photo by Atomic99 on the CGS boards.) Micah and Dave are working on putting up pics from the trip on the gallery. Should be up with Monday's update. Check the pod-people thread for links to interviews and/or mentions of Bushi Tales and CGS Ep300. bushitales.proboards52.com/index.cgi?board=conventions&action=display&thread=1153265477&page=3Here's Antone Wade, Mike Norton, me, Dave Beaty, and Micah Stewart at our talbes on Saturday after the CGS Ep300 festivities at Goden Eagle Comics. Here's me and the Geeks from Comic Geek Speak- Me with Athena Voltaire creator Steve Bryant and Gravity co-creator Mike Norton. And big group shot out in front of the mall. (Photo by Atomic99 on the CGS boards.) Here are the art trading cards I got. Captain Marvel by our own Dave Beaty. He ended up picking one of mine, too. Vince B. By Marty Devoid. When I got to Golden Eagle this was waiting for me at our table... It's the cover art to "The Waiting Place" #3 by Mike Norton! I had done a sculpt for him back when he was still living here in Memphis and when he asked what I wanted to do it I told him I wanted that original art. He couldn't find it so I traded two sequential pages from that issue, and he said if he ever found it he'd give it to me- and he did! Also got to pick up my "sketch" from Andrew Charipar. It's gorgeous! He's got a new sketchbook featuring all the free sketches he did for 300. It's available at Lulu.com- www.lulu.com/content/1023596I did a couple sketches while at the airport, on the plane, or in the hotel. Gotham Public Works Harley Quinn The Goon for Randy Gentile.

You have no idea how bad I would have loved to have gone to that! I'm curious; which of the guys are Jamie D. and which is Pants? (they're my two favorites on the show).

Pants is standing to the left(my right) between me and the puppet and Jamie is kneeling in front of me holding Bryan and Tasha's baby Clara.

Kevin Williams got ahold of some of my trip photos and video and put this together of the Bushi Tales Team's trip to Philly. Luckily no paramedics had to be called in for my run up the stairs... youtube.com/watch?v=yN9OEvWox8g
