Saw this announcement on the Cactuscon boards and thought I'd share. Got to catch it in Little Rock. Fun exhibit! ARIZONA MUSEUM FOR YOUTH PRESENTS JIM HENSON’S FANTASTIC WORLD, DEC. 15, 2007 - MARCH 9, 2008 Without “fences” to limit where his imagination could roam, Jim Henson (1936-1990)—artist, puppeteer, film director and producer—created elaborate imaginary worlds filled with unique characters, objects, environments and even languages and cultures. His work is enjoyed in dozens of languages in more than 100 countries. Beginning December 15, fans of all ages will be able to get a firsthand look at his imagination and creative genius with the debut of “Jim Henson’s Fantastic World,” a new exhibition coming to the Arizona Museum for Youth (AMY) in downtown Mesa. It will remain on view through March 9, 2008. TICKETS ARE $7 PER PERSON AGES 1 AND OVER AND AVAILABLE ONLINE. It was hear last month- it's a traveling exhibit.
I went one afternoon with Kev, Antone, and Janet. Kev went a second time with Tim I think. Sorry we didn't give you guys a yell. We could have convoyed!
If something like that comes near here again I'll be sure to give you a yell.
