I'm hoping they do! Usually Samurai has them down, and hopefully Stalking Moon and Spaz Dog will. Here's the official press release: FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: www.BushiTales.comBushi Tales Announces Comic Signing at BookHaven in Southaven, MSMemphis, TN and Prescott Valley, AZ: March 25, 2008-It’s a bit of a homecoming next month for one of the Bushi Tales creators. Lin Workman graduated from Southaven High School a little over 20 years ago, and on April 5th from noon-2pm he will return to Southaven for a signing appearance at Book Haven on Goodman Road. He will be joined by fellow comic creators Kevin L. Williams and comic newcomer (and Southaven resident) Ronnie Shenks. Kevin’s puppet creation Muley T. Mule will also be "on hand" at the comic signing. Bushi Tales has been a labor of love by Lin Workman and friends/co-creators David Beaty and Micah Stewart who now live over 1400 miles apart. The Bushi Tales crew has been making signing appearances at comic book and fantasy/sci-fi conventions and comic book retail locations across the country promoting this popular online title, and meeting their fans from around the world. The BT trio will be making a return trip to the San Diego Comic Con this summer. Issue 3 hits stores this month and will wrap up this first storyline. Instead of the normal 32 pages, Bushi Tales 3 will be a 48 page comic with black-and-white interiors, a full-color painted front cover by Beaty and Workman, extras such as 2 back up stories by Kevin L. Williams and Ronnie Shenks and 3 new character bio pages, pin-up illustrations by Emmy award winning artist Bret Blevins, syndicated cartoonist Greg Cravens (The Buckets), and HEOES web contest winning artist Andrew Chandler- and no price increase! Cover price will continue to be $3.95. Wizard, the comic industry’s leading trade magazine featured Bushi Tales in their April Wizard Edge special supplement, "The 50 things you need to know about indie comics in 2008". Bushi Tales was listed as one of the "Great In ’08" indie comics. Wizard magazine staff writer Rachel Molino said, "This book may be black and white but the atmosphere is vibrant and expansive, fusing feudal-era flavor with heavy mythology." Plans for a one shot spin-off title and Bushi Tales trade paperbacks are in the works to be released later in 2008. -more- Lin Workman SWM, 41, seeks fame and fortune by drawing funny! Lin was an artist and screen printer in the t-shirt industry for almost 20 years, and is currently a graphic artist designing monuments for West Memorials in Memphis, TN. We had a blast down at Book Haven. The weather started out a bit cold, but warmed up nicely soon. We had a great turnout and signed a bunch of books! Here are a few pics. I'll post more and a rundown of what all went on later. Muley shakes hands with one of the kids that came to the bookstore. Muley gets ready to sign a book while Antone watches. Me, Jane, and Ronnie outside of Book Haven.
