Excellent! We're going to try and make it, I think. Gina is out of the collar and feeling much better. If you guys haven't already seen it, we are planning for Iron Man @ 7:30 Sat @ the Paradiso to cap off FCBD. -Joe

Great seeing you two there- and great seeing Gina up and around. Had a great time out at Comic Cellar for FCBD! Thanks to Jason and his staff for having us out. Here are a few pics- more to come later. We gave away free copies of my comic Bushi Tales #1. We also had some BT buttons, postcards and posters we were giving away, too. Ronnie Shenks and me behind the BT table. Ronnie is the brother of BT co-creator David Beaty and wrote the back-up story in BT#3. Jason, the owner of Comic Cellar, behind the counter. Me at Comics and Collectibles across town earlier that morning with my FCBD stash and stuff I got for 20% off. After the FCBD signing at Comic Cellar a bunch of us went to go catch Iron Man at the theater. This big guy was standing out in the lobby!

Excellent, it sounds like you guys had a good FCBD.
I made it to a few different stores here in town, got my Hi-Fi Color for Comics book signed, and got an awesome critique from Steve Rude on some of my artwork. I was disappointed that I didn't have my Perspective book with me, Jason Cheeseman-Meyer was at one of the shops I went to, but I didn't know. I'll have to get it signed by him some other time.
I also scored a little bit of freelance work from a guy I met on FCBD as well. Just a few pages of pencils, but this is my first work for hire job so I want to make sure I give 'em what he wants! Speaking of which, I think I'm going to go get a bit more work done on that.

Great! Hey, you can't beat some face time with The Dude on FCBD!
Good luck on the gig.
Dave said he and Micah had a good time at Stalking Moon up where they're at. Dave sketched his hands off for a few hours to get canned goods for the food bank there.

Here's some of the artwork we gave away for FCBD 2008 at Stalking Moon. Ironman 1970's style Ironman 1980's style Visit the News page of the main site to see the current Ironman armor. Micah and I didn't get a chance to take pictures. Mary (One of the owners) did and I asked her to get me a disk. Hopefully I'll have some to upload soon.
