SabotenCon was last weekend and boy am I tired! I decided to split an Artist Ally table with a friend of mine and just do sketches. It was a lot of fun and I got to meet a lot of new people as well as make a little money which was great too. I was surprised at how swamped/popular I was. At one point I was backed up some 5 commissions. It's a nice change of pace to be given money for art, I'm not used to it.
Overall the con was a great deal of fun, although I'm disappointed I didn't get to see most of the con because of the table. I didn't even get to do any karaoke! Now the tough question is, do I want to do it again and miss the events of the next con? I'm not entirely sure when but I'm sure I'll have an artist ally table again in the future!

Remember that when you share a table to take breaks and enjoy the show. It's hard to, but that's usually when you run into other folks and make good contacts.
Glad to hear you were busy and making money! More than I can say for the last two shows I did in TN this year!
Did you take any pics or have any drawings to post?

I stayed super busy so I forgot to take any pictures of anything >< I have a few example sketches I put up that I didn't sell, I'll try to get those scanned in soon to show you guys.
The weekend was sort of an ink-practice thing too. I thought I would see if I could learn to use inks better so I inked every image I did. It's faster then the way I was doing it before, but still kinda sloppy. I need a lot of practice on that.

Be sure to force yourself to take breaks. Being busy is great- especially if you're making money, but for me cons are more fun when I'm not looking down the whole time. ;D
