No comics guest of honor announced as of right now. They have got some leads, but are trying to wrap it up no that Thanksgiving is over.
It hasn't been announced on their site yet, but John Jackson Miller, Dean Zachary, Jim Hall, and Tim Brown will all be back again this year. My girlfriend Nicki is going to be a guest for the first time. She's the prez of the local Star Wars Fan Force and will be sitting in on a few panels. Dean was just announced to draw an issue of her favorite SW comic- KotOR:Knights of the Old Republic, so she'' be on a panel with him and KotOR writer JJM.
Funny thing, today our book keeper at work brought in some comics for me to go thru and see if there was anything I wanted before her yard sale this week. I picked up a few Batman and Superman books (she decided to keep the two SW TPBs- D'oh!). Then I noticed a familiar signature on the cover of C.R.O.S.S.FIRE COMMANDOS- ZACHARY. Below that was (Charles)Ettinger and (Erich)Von Haas, and on the inside a pin-up by Jim Hall (Star Wars:Rouge Squadron/Guardians of the Galaxy/Alien VS Predator). Was cool to find another comic for my local creators long box collection.
Gonna have to take it to MidSouthCon and get it signed. Think just about everybody who worked on it will be there. They were last year!
As soon as I hear any more news on MSC I'll post it here. Still waiting to see what other local/MSCA members will be attending.
