From the Atomic Comics newsletter- BREAKING NEWS!
Look for Flash Gordon to hit the small screen later this summer. The Sci-Fi Channel has given a new series based on the pulp hero a green light. Production on the full, 22-episode season should start later this month with the show debuting in July.
Sci-Fi knows there are plenty more potential superheroes out there and launched a search for contestants to appear on the sequel to the surprise hit “Who Wants to Be a Superhero?” the past weekend in Miami. The tour will be in Phoenix on February 3rd and 4th. Fallout subscribers outside Arizona can find the full schedule on the Atomic Blog.

Woo-Hoo! All my dreams have come to fruition! Another re-make AND another reality series! I can barely contain my joy! Wait... was that joy or sarcasm?... sometimes even I can't tell...

Before seeing Battlestar Galactica and Stargate SG-1 I would have thought, "Oh, crap..!" but I'd really love to see a new Flash Gordon. As cheesey at the 80's movie was I still love watching it. If the action is good, the babes are as hot the 80's move, and they get someone as cool as Max Von Sydow to be Ming I'm cool with it. I think the actor playing Green Arrow/Oliver Queen would make a great Flash Gordon. Speaking of green- now if we could only get someone to make a Green Hornet movie or TV show. If you haven't seen this short GH&K film check it out. It'll make you want a new Hornet film! www.lefrelonvert-court.com/Lin

They definitely need to give these guys a budget and let them do a feature length green hornet film. That was awesome!! Flash Gordon TV series sounds cool too.
