[/img]The CGS boards had a thread for folks to share their convention sketches, comic pages, and other comics art. It's turned into a really cool thread!

Thought I'd start one here.
Here's some out of my collection-
I got these in Georgia at the SEC-NCS fall cartoonists meeting the first weekend of this month.
Head sketch by The Nam artist Wayne VanZant.
Jane sketch by Paige Braddock.
Jane's World #12 cover art by Paige Braddock.
Here's some from my trip to Ohio State back in 2001.
Framed group shot. Got the Nancy one from Guy Gilchrist when he came to Memphis for a book signing. I think it's one of my first- if not THE first artist sketch I've gotten.
Sergio MAD sketch done in about 5 seconds or less!
Mutts by Patrick McDonnell.
Luann by Greg Evans.
Zits by Jim Borgman (and signed by writer Jerry Scott).
And a Bone sketch by Jeff Smith and an autograph from Will Eisner! Got the Bone sketch after a panel Jeff and Will did together, and the autograph from Will at an art show we were both at during the Festival of Cartoon Art.
Some I have in one big frame (like the Ohio States sketches), some pages I have framed seperately, some are still in sketchbooks (one was swiped in San Diego- so keep an eye on your books at cons!), and others are in clear comic page bags in a zip-up portfolio waiting to be framed (there's another Harley Quinn and Alpha Centurion page, too).
I've got several signed prints and autographs that need to be framed, too. Oh, and here's a Mike Norton Doc Goyle sketch (below) and a Dawn and Badger sketch of Mike's I had, too. (Bottom right of the group picture.)
Some of my framed art at the Superman Celebration art show-
Mike Norton "The Waiting Place" #3.
Jim Hall "Mecha" splash page.
Dan Day "Elvira" #69.
Joe Staton "Batman Adventures- Iceman Cometh".
Steve Rude "World's Finest"
The Dude and me at Adam Shaw's studio with my WF page.
And some of my work with the people they're of-
Scott Cranford as Superman.
And Michael Rosenbaum as Lex Luthor from "Smallville".
