Well, had my wisdom teeth taken out on Monday. The surgery went great, and my doctor was fantastic- and very funny. Have been crashing with my friend Kevin for the past couple days so he can keep an eye on me and make sure I take my meds. He's a good mother, and a hell of a friend. Owe him a big steak dinner once I can eat one again!
I've had a pretty pain free week- until tonight. Had 'em start reminding me an hour or so ago. Was going to go back to work tomorrow, but will be heading home to crash. Will go back to work on Friday morning I think. Still doesn't hurt anything like they did while I was in San Diego or last week. Whew..!
One really good thing from all this (other than the pain being a lot less than before the surgery!) is that I can actually breath like a normal person. I've always had terrible sinuses and now they seem to be clearer! Hope they stay that way...oh, and oxycodone helped me kick my "coke habit". I couldn't have caffeine while on my meds and haven't had a Coke since.
