I decided to start a thread just to let every one know about any press or media events that concern Bushi Tales. The latest we found is a short article on Memphis Flyer Online. It is just a small mention and they are a little confused on Lin and Dave's duties but any press is good press, right? Check it out: www.memphisflyer.com/memphis/Content?oid=oid%3A32162

It always amazes me how you can email a press release and people can still get things wrong. Last time apparently Dave and I worked on the comic "Star Guides"... It's cool we're mentioned during Elvis Week coverage and there's a shot of the King next to the article! Aw, Mercy! Lin

I read the article and they have it right if you go to the full article. At least they have that part right. Click on read more at the end of the short write up. I see someone posted a good comment on BT.

BT News- My Bushi Tales partner Dave Beaty was just interviewed for the Daily Courier's "The Scene" out in AZ- www.dcourier.com/main.asp?SectionID...articleID=46821He got to do the cover illustration and was the main story. I just found out I'll be doing a signing on Wednesday, August 29th here in Memphis at Comic Cellar (4728 Yale Rd.) from 4-6pm. If you're in the M-Town slide on by and say hi. David Micah will be doing a comic signing on Saturday, September 1st in Phoenix, AZ at Samurai Comics West. Great to have comic shops supporting local books and creators! Speaking of which- don't forget that Bushi Tales will be available nationwide on the 29th, which is BT art assistant and CFO Micah Stewart's birthday! More info at: www.BushiTales.comLin

How do I see the article that Dave did in the Daily Courier entitled The Scene, where he was interviewed? Dave, you did save me a copy of this right??? I want one. I tried to look for it, but could not find it.

The BT Book Haven signing is listed in the Memphis Flyer this week. It has a cover by Greg Cravens of the mayor playing chess on the cover. ;D

Hey- we got a great review of Bushi Tales #3 on the Comic Book Page podcast this week! www.comicbookpage.com/ www.comicbookpage.com/Podcast/?p=156 This is one of my favorite podcasts- and not just because they've said nice things about Bushi Tales. Each week they review one Marvel comic, one DC comic, and one comic from another publisher. The hosts, John and Bob, have been very supportive of us and indie comics, and probably keep a lot of publishers (including Marvel and DC) in business from just the comics they buy every week! Check out their show (I really like the Super-Fan episodes), and the amazing photos of their collections they have on their site. John also does The Mayo Report where he runs the numbers for comic sales- very informative! Thanks, Lin
